Things to Do in Jackson Hole, Wyoming in June 2019

June is one of the best months to explore Jackson Hole, Wyoming.

While visiting the Tetons in May can be a gamble given the occasional snow storms and lingering mud from snow melt, June is typically when the entire valley turns a lush green and the weather begins to consistently feel like spring and summer.

Though snow cover is to be expected on many higher-elevation trails in Grand Teton National Park, visitors in June usually benefit from less crowds than those found during the peak summer season in July and August.

There are seemingly endless activities to enjoy — hiking, mountain biking, fly fishing, whitewater rafting, paddleboarding, wildlife tours, stargazing, the Jackson Hole Rodeo, the Town Square Shootout…the list goes on — but below we’ve highlighted some of the best one-off Jackson Hole events this June.
