History of Tucker Ranch
At Tucker Ranch, a former gravel pit has ironically become home to some of the best real estate in Jackson Hole.
A gravel mining operation at Tucker Ranch supplied roadbed for many of the highways and roads around Jackson Hole. In the process of mining the gravel, the mine’s operators descended beneath the water table, causing clean, fresh water to fill the holes they left behind.
The resultant Tucker Lakes now beautify the subdivision — with no hint of their humble gravel mining origins. Thirty impressive and unique lots speckle the premier neighborhood and large meadows occasionally break up the dense vegetation fed by the nearby Snake River.
Other neighborhoods in the immediate vicinity include Wilderness Ranches and Linn Ranch.
